Why did I choose Camera Obscura 1 for the name of my blog? A camera obscura is a lightless room with a lens mounted in a small single window. An image of the outside world would be projected on a screen in the room. This blog will be a place for me to display a part of my life, though imperfectly, to the world. Here I will irregularly put up messages about the "goings ons" in my home and garden.

Tukie's Tomatoes
One of my friends gave me three heirloom tomatoes. Black Prince on the right, Dixie Yellow Giant on the left. There is assorted basil in the middle. The third tomato, Mortgage Lifter is in my main tomato row and will be posted soon.
Thanks Tukie.

Ah your basil is making me covetous... perhaps I should show my wee plants so you can feel sorry for 'em? :)
Your garden and your blog is growing!
It is so much easier now that I have decided to make my blog my garden/book/ideas journal though not my prayer journal that is too personal. And a computer with an SD card slot so I can take the card out of the camera and just put it into the computer, it makes pictures sooooo much easier.
